Vehicular Assault

Just found out that one of my nephews was run over about 3 months ago. I think it was in or around Druid Hill park. The story I hear is that he was coming home from a fight, He is into ultimate fighting, and was drug into a car window and drug down the street. When he pulled out he was run over by the back tires. Is there anyway to find out what the police are doing over this, or a way to get the police report? Any help would be appreciated.
