    Guys,

I hate to be the one to ask this, but I need some insight. I have a friend that wants to sell her dad's IMI Uzi Carbine. It's in fantastic shape and if it's had more than a box of ammo through it I'd be amazed. She has the original box and the carry case that also has the Uzi logo. She has the letter from IMI showing that it was imported for her dad.

What's a fair offer on this thing?

When the A model first came in the country, the ATF made IMI change certain parts to make it "less" easy to covert to FA, hence the "B" model.
in general the A type command more in the marketplace.

    $1200-$1500 for a mint example.

Ok, that makes me a little happier than the clowns on gunbroker looking for $2k and up. I'll probably offer her $1k for it and see what she says. Thanks Lee.
