For those who don't know, we have Dieudonné Saive, a Belgian, to thank for both the FN-49 and the FAL as well as finishing John Browning's P-35 9mm pistol. (AKA the Browning Hi-Power)

Imagine being in the same shop as the Master, John Moses Browning.....

I never have handled the 49, but i would love one.

Yes, and it was not coming up in most searches. Which is why no one else bid on it. I believe it was listed as "FN 49" only and not FN-49 which caused people to miss it.
