Here's my idea. Go buy a big box truck and paint very unattractive statements about legislators and park it in front of their house. Then place cameras in it, so when they vandalize it, they go to jail.

I have some other ideas that I don't want to publish.

Their respective residences are out of bounds per state law, but nothing (to my knowledge) prevent anything from being done at their place of work/business/employment.

Please cite the law you are referring to. I'd be really interested to know how the 1A disappears on a public street just because a legislator happens to live there.

VP Pence and JV First Lady Ivanka Trump suffered at the hands of radical lgbtq demonstrators at their homes.

Let me see if I can find it, I remember a link to COMAR that said just that, and I remember being appalled.

This is a terrible idea. Some of us live in one-party districts, and the only chance we have to positively influence outcomes is at the primary level. Punishing those of us who are playing a smart game by registering as Democrats is counter-productive and alienating.

Gun ownership in MD shouldn't be a partisan issue, and it's only playing into the hands of our opponents when people make it so.

I agree this is a bad idea. Pro-gun democrats are a valuable asset. It would be like banning women because of anti-gun women's organizations.

Edit: oops, just noticed how old and long this thread is, so I'm sure my opinion is nothing new. FWIW, I like most of the other ideas.

Like the Taser and knife bans, it has to be challenged in the courts to be beaten, but the horsesh!t ban on picketing MD legislators at their homes is on the books.

We would likely have to have someone who was picketing purposely present themselves to be arrested. The problem is about the only folks who are confronting DemocRats on the street....are 2A people, who reasonably fear that any arrest would not be wiped off the books.

Someone who is a better Digital Warrior than I will find it. (OK, there it is /\ /\ /\ /\ /\)

I do know that at Patriot Picket strategy sessions, this subject comes up. It does not preclude us from going to the busiest intersections in the district of the gun haters and letting 'er rip. (Remember, there is very little traffic past anyone's private home. We would have to depend on the news media covering it and we are quite certain they won't)

A year ago, thanks to help from Aray and his daughter, the Patriot Picket caused a stir by setting up in Chesapeake Beach--just down the road from Senate President Mike Miller's house.

We know he knew about it because we spotted some of his minions driving by and gawking....and we know they told him about it.

Chesapeake Beach is pretty quiet, so our presence was a BIG rubber-necking event that day.

We did it again, in the busiest intersection in Annapolis (Rt. 2 & West Street), and again recognized several of our opponents driving by. The scene was so compelling that one of our pics became the cover shot for the MDshooters Facebook page--seen by anyone with a Facebook account.

Below, Bikebreath and Not_An_Outlaw--part of a crew of a dozen Patriots who were real traffic stoppers.

    Unbelievable.

I wonder if we can claim injury and therefore standing by applying for and being denied a permit to protest rather than actually being arrested...

    Thoughts from the legal eagles?

There is no such thing as a permit to protest a "private citizen residence". The commie MD law against protest at politician homes has no exceptions in it...none.

Any protest permit I know of involves Govt. grounds or blocking public roadways. Public sidewalks belong to anyone with a 1st Amendment message--except where they have enacted a Soviet law against it to protect Infringers here in MD.

Simply put: We need MORE warriors for our Patriot Picket Army...with "franchises" all they way to the far corners of MD to conduct demonstrations in very busy places in enemy districts.

In New Jersey, there are some compelling videos of 2A picketing at the home of the President of the NJ Senate, but that jerk wasn't changing his votes. Very satisfying to see the jerk and his wife so uncomfortable, but it was not changing HIS behavior.

Here is that video of the New Jersey Democrat being picketed at his home:

Been a while, as we get closer to 2018, time to bump this thread back to the top for more discussion, and perhaps start planning a few more "actions".

Anyone own any land next to major roadways that we can put up signs, or know someone that would let us put up signs?

Sounds great in theory but you can't beat the MSM. The majority of the country is behind Trump but the media has the unwashed masses believing he is the anti-Christ. You can't beat city hall and sure can't beat them when they have an enormous propaganda arm in the MSM. 1% of the people (The MSM) control 96% of the population. I don't think the 3% that can think for themselves can beat the MSM.

The majority of the country is behind Trump. HA! That's:lol: funny considering he didnt even win the popular vote and more and more Republicans have been publically coming out against him as time goes on.

You're kidding right? We started trying that in the sixties and wound up with the GCA of '68. We continued to try to work across the isle and in 2013 we go the FSA of 2013. I suggest you read up on the history of gun control.
