OMG! It has one of those evil barrel shrouds and a shoulder thingy that looks like it goes up! You'd better keep under lock and key so it won't go shooting by itself!

Yes most likely an Eotech XPS. I like the circle dot more vs the single dot and I use a 512 on my work rifle.

It's a mid length. It seems louder than my 6920.

Sucks we live in MD because after I built one I had the urge to build more. HBAR's and AR10's are fun too but but there is just something awesome about building your own AR15!
Check out the Leupold Prismatic for a red dot 1X optic. Eotech's are great too but I like the etched reticle on the Leupold. You can hit a button to light up the reticle but still see it if the batteries crap out.
