I have a 10" c4 rail on a 16 lightweight rifle. Weighs right around 6.5lbs without optic. So far I really like the rails.

When I applied last fall, it took about 4-5 months from MSP to getting it in the mail.I heard it's now taking about 6 months but I could be wrong.

Hey Koontz how does the optic witness with the front A2 post? Ive got a pro that I'd like to mount to my AR build but was unsure how the cowitness would be.

    Nice rifle too. :)

I finally got the assembly finished on my first AR (had to wait an extra week since I ordered mags with the upper and had to ship it to the in-laws in VA).

Looks good. But your rear sight is a little far forward. Seems to be a trend around here for some reason.

Yeah, I did that intentionally to give me some more room to grab the charging handle. Since any fancier optics are off the table for a while (next purchase is gonna be a carry piece for the wife) I'm not as concerned about loosing a little space.
