This one is going to get a few upgrades...from way back in the safe.

Thank you. I like that setup.

I should add that I can also manipulate the pressure switch if I have to switch over to my left side. However, due to the actual placement of the light, I can only use the close-in grip behind the AFG2 when shooting from the non-dominant side.

Build using a Rainier Arms upper and lower receiver and their EVO rail from Samson. It has a Ionbonded SS 1:8 twist mid-gas barrel with a Battle Comp; a Raptor ambi-charging handle from Rainier Arms; Magpul furniture; topped with Brownells CQB-T EoTech.

(Don't get too excited...it's just the same rifle 11 times.)

    All OVER
Spike's Tactical upper and lower receiver in FDE (back when they used to do that) and BCG; Daniel Defense rail and LPK; melonited SS barrel; YHM brake (gotta go); Midwest Industry flip up sights in FDE (probably going); Magpul furniture; Troy vertical grip in FDE.

How much fir the irons? I wish they stil did FDE receivers. Sweet rifle.

They stopped doing FDE receivers because they could never duplicate the FDE between batches. If they started to Cerakote then it would be uniform, but could you imagine spikes cerakoting? Their ETA's would be several years.

The Colt Anodized FDEs models I have are slightly different if you look closely. I think it is a common problem which is why most companies are doing the cerakote finish for their FDE models instead.

(yes, I know I need to clean the crayon color fill up on the other LRB lower... I might paint it like the pistol lower, we'll see.)

I can't wait till my three spike's lowers get here so I can finally dabble in the magical "form 1" :D
