Specs my friend, we need the specs. Very good looking rifle though.

It is pretty much all Spikes.

    5.56/.223
    Spikes Enhanced LPK
16" Barrel with 9" SAR rail.
    Magpul Miad Pistol Grip
Magpul ACS stock on a spikes buffer
    Magpul rail covers
    Magpul flip up sights
    MAgpul AFG
    Tactical Bolt Release
    Gunfighter charging handle lark latch
The light is a Maglite LED XL50 I had laying around not too bright 104 lumen but is adequate for HD use.
Light holder is a UTG adjustable multi-position holder
And the colorfill is the crayon colorfill

    EOTECH XPS3-2
With Primary arms 3X magnifier with flip to the side.
Bought this at the end of the year when Primary arms was offering the free magnifier and mount.

EOTech has the GGG "Face Toward Enemy" flip up lens covers. I also use a scopecoat on the EOtech

I do want to change the muzzle device.

Right now I have 2 more in various stages of construction one of which will probably be an all billet, Head Down Lower with a Black Ordinance Upper. One will definitely be a larger caliber either 300 blackout or 6.8 not really sure right now. The other will probably be a EBR/UBR build with 20" or longer barrel. And to think 1 year ago I only started buying guns and getting into them and by the summer I could have 5 complete guns.

Jarumann, where did you get the spikes rifle holder? Rifle is sweet too...

I ordered it off spikes website. It is plastic or resin and I think it came with a sticker for you to apply

I will give little product advice if you buy an EOTech make sure it has the QD mount or you can buy it separately. I bought mine from GGGAZ.COM they also make flip up lens covers for EOTechs. If you like the winter trigger guard (rounded trigger guard) get anyone's but black hawks theirs has too much slop to either side of the guard. Also I recommend an ambi safety selector for some reason I use my trigger finger as often as I use my thumb. It was old habit I picked up in the army from a Sgt.

Building one is nice but you do have $100-200 in tools you need to get for a partial I know I have to spend another $50-100 in tools for a complete build. All in all building this rifle cost me more than if I bought one straight from spikes but it was nice feeling to know some of my blood went into this one.

I was waiting to hear reviews on the dynacomp

I've got both. I think the Battlecomp has Spike's licked here...

I've always been against the filling in of the rollmarks, till I saw some of the zombie lowers on AR15.com. Using colors other than white make it look really good.

So I thought I'd try my hand at it on a couple of the family ARs.

First was my daughters. The colors were chosen for her preferences and to match the furnature, slings, and magazines. However the brand of crayon used didn't have an easy time melting so I don't think the serial numbers came out well (they look better in person than they do inthe photo though).

Then I decided to try my hand on my Wife's. She likes green so I decided to use a light green crayon (from Olive Garden of all places). It worked great. Very easy to apply and clean up.

Looks good. I think testers model paints work better and are real easy to do.

Not sure how Testor's will stand up to CLP, but the crayon method has a history of standing up to it. Plus I had plenty of free crayons on hand to try it out. ;)

I should have taken a photo of the A2 type BUIS that goes with my daughter's rifle. That came out looking REALLY nice, especially with the range markings.

Testors paint works great. CLP and the like will wear it off slightly but to a point where it isnt super bright. I like it better after it gets dirty and some oil in them.
