The one on the rifle is pretty. Some constructive criticism for the one on the left.....I'd remove that stock and grip. It looks kind of weird.

I have been spending some time in the garage lately. I finished the Yugo M70 two weeks ago, the Romy M90 (Tapco trigger on order) Monday night and almost finished with the Romy M65. One night I need to tear those three rifles down, sand blast and parkerize. My next two builds will be a Hungarian AK63D and a 9.5" AK pistol with wood handguards.

7.62x39 Saiga conversion with Manticore Arms Side Folder. I bought this Saiga for $299 back in 2011 unconverted. :sad20:

The only 2 complete ones I have, I have a couple of receivers I am going to build though.
A Polish underfolder and an old Romanian G kit screw build I did awhile ago.

Pulled these two from the safe last week.

I'm usually not a fan of black style tac AKs but the left buld looks pretty damn good!! Is that 308 or 54r?

Is the lower HG on the middle one original and if so where did you snag that. I could be wrong but aren't those versions hard to find? R did you just buy the whole UF kit?

They are original and I bought two of these parts kits from APEX earlier this year. The Romy M65 reverse handguards are hard to find but they still have some available for $369. Here is the link.

Yeah I've been out of the hunt for a while now I sold off all but one of my AKs but I remember looking for the reverse grip for my partner and unless you bought a kit.....you weren't finding it.

I'll give you credit though she looks good!!

Now stop building show quality BNIB look a likes and build a BFPU :)

    These pictures make me sad.

I totally understand how you feel but $20 AK flats were by far the least expensive investment that you could have made before October 1, 2013. You could have folded them into recievers free at the couple AK build parties that were held before the ban.

that wont make him feel better, yugo looks good

Unless portions of FSA '13 get over tuned in the law suit there is nothing that I can do to help him feel better. Sorry.

Thanks for the compliments on the Yugo. That was the hardest AK to build so far. Some of the rivets are difficult to get to and the dust cover locking pin was a PITA to get correct - Never again!
