For doubling the price on 30 rd magazines (Kel Tech in my case) proving that there are actually people in the gun industry who will take advantage of a tragedy to their own advantage!

Before you bash a business for making the best profits they can maybe you should ask yourself if you couldnt get AR15's, or AR Mags anymore and someone offered you what you paid for them would you be a Gouger for refusing and say you want 3x what you paid for them? Of course not, its YOUR property and you can ask whatever you want for it.

I bought Pmags for 17 bucks a pop last week.
Now that people are freaking out they are eaither sold out or 59.99 each.

Call it what you want. It's BS any way you look at it.

Ammo is going to be out of stock next, then a dollar a round for 223/5.56.

Just when it was starting to go down enough to go shooting.

If you own it and you want to sell it, you name your price. If you don't like it, don't fuc4ing buy it, it's that simple. Supply and D-f-ing-mand. I know it sucks but, it is what it is. Don't call out someone as a gouger when it doesn'
t suit you or your current needs. Yeah, I know, I'm another low poster. :D

There's no such thing as price gouging.

Right, except in socialist societies ;), which it seems like some people really, really want.

Huh? Some of you need remedial economics. Business owners dont open and run businesses to make sure you feel comfortable with thier prices. They do it to make money...for themselves. Oh geeze, those EVIL capitalists. What monsters they are!!!

If a natural disaster "rolls around", and the supply of gas goes down, then the demand will naturally rise. If something becomes scarce, it becomes expensive. Gas, guns, ammo, antique furniture, etc.

I guess you are so selfish and self serving that you actually believe that the gas station owner (or 30rd magazine vendor) should prevent himself from attempting to make his supply last longer and cover his losses for when his supply does run out, just so that you can have the product at whatever price you feel is fair? Remember, when he does run out of gas, HE CANT SELL ANY GAS, which means he will be doing without a paycheck until the supply returns.

Holy crap, no wonder we are on the bullet train to unabated socialism.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he was trying to say the same thing.

It's gouging by definition! Either way they back down the price from $60 to $30, IMO that proves that they were gouging!!

Furthermore who ever said it was a supply and demand thing, did you read Magpul response to CTD's inflated prices?

    http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/12/19/magpul-statement-on-magazine-prices/

If they don't feel right about it, I don't!!

Ha ha. Been sheared lately? Ba-a-a-a-a-a-a

Magpul can say what they want, the magazines that CTD inceased the prices on have already been purchased from Magpul. In other words, they no longer have any skin in the game for those mags. However, they do want to preserve their reputation, so they opted to make a "press release" that says they dont like gouging, that they are ok with the price increases (as long as they dont kill business, lol), and that they are ok with capitalism.

LOL, all this from a company that also set an MSRP that is above what most retailers actually charge.
