Got some amazing news, e-mail indicating that S&W is shipping back ordered mags !!!! I ordered these back in early January !!!

It looks like I ordered 2 of the 10 round mags, the longer style for $20 each. So not bad.

Yes they were from S&W directly.

S&W will backorder magazine orders. Contact them direct at 1-800-331-0852. As of last week they were quoting a June / July timeframe. The rep I spoke to indicated the 10 round magazines will likely be in stock sooner than the 25 round magazines. They will not bill your CC card until they ship and they will honor the current pricing of roughly $20 per mag. Well worth the wait -- I refuse to pay $75-$100 each on GunBroker.

What did you guys order? I ordered on 12/27 I think and have no received any info. I ordered some 30 round pmags and 17 round mp9 mags.

I would look around. I got some S&W Shield mags from Midway USA 2 weeks ago. Get on an email list from a reputable vendor and order immediately when they email you.

The magazines I ordered were for the M&P 15-22 (.22LR Rifle) and M&P 22 (.22LR Pistol). I'm not sure what the lead time is for other magazines. During this climate I would suspect a similar timeframe.

Thanks for the insight. I just placed an order for 2 of the small 10 rounders for the 15-22 rifle. It was fast and I too will wait in lieu of the auction price hysteria.

Several people on the S&W forum reported receiving their 10 round backordered magazines that were ordered in early to mid January.

If I go to the S&W site and hit the tab to the right for the store and go to the mags for 15-22... None will let me backorder... (25rd, 10rd long or 10rd short). Can you post the link?


Just re-read post and so per post #12 you have to call to backorder...? Can't do it online?
