small pistol question

All, I want to buy a North American Arms .22 Sidewinder w/conversion. But I was told that MD might not allow me because of barrel length. Is there any truth to this?

I've looked over the forum, and I tried to find something on mdsp.org websites but my google fue blows goats today. It's a wonder I can type this.

I am no expert but I believe the fact it has no trigger guard makes it a no no in maryland
