3) likely disproportionately relied on movie sales (box office, streaming, etc) to those in the US that own firearms

His morals and world understanding should have been easy to predict when the original Taken was shown to be fiction rather than the true story it was reported to be.

Anyone of any moral standing would have left the franchise there and then and not continued to be associated with lies.

I agree in principle that he's a hypocrite, but you need to get your facts straight as well. He said nothing about gun OWNERS, just the number of guns in general and specifically in America. (While promoting "Taken 3" in Dubai, Neeson told Gulf News “there’s too many [expletive] guns out there. Especially in America. I think the population is like, 320 million? There’s over 300 million guns. Privately owned, in America. I think it’s a [expletive] disgrace.”).

There's a big difference. When my wife says something outrageous, I can say 'you're stupid', or I can say 'what you said is stupid'. The first statement is calling her a stupid person, the second is calling her actions (what she said) stupid. The second statement is accurate. In the Neeson quote, he called the number of guns in America a '[expletive] disgrace]', not the gun owners.

If we expect news organizations to report the news accurately, we should read and pass on the news accurately as well.

Yes, he's another liberal hypocrite celebrity like endless others.
