anyone have any input on the sig mosquito? i am looking to get one with a threaded barrel and was wondering how well it worked with subsonic ammo?

how does it work in general, i've read really mixed reviews all over the place and have yet to meet someone to fire theirs.

    Thanks in advance.

    FREEEEEE AT LAST!!!
mine works good using CCI Minimags,

i do get some issues w/ suppressor on when using the cci subsonics HPs.
with the mini-mags the only difference is no issues

edit: the issue w/ the cci subsonic rds is the coating on the rds i believe because sometimes i have a hard time pulling them out of the packaging.

I have one not suppressed you can use any 22LR ammo if it is suppressed
I love mine with very few FTF using cheap Federal Champion ammo from WalMart
I would suggest buying a gently used one they are pricey new
I'll post more when I have more time

I love mine, sorry though no $$$ for a Can so I can't comment on it. However using subsonics I would sugest you use the lighter spring, and keep it clean and well lubed

Jerry, Ordinance Outsellers, never told me. BUT he did say it was not Sig.:nono:

its a sigarms, which is swiss and german offspring from sig.

i have their .40sw and its a phenomenal gun.

its just as nice as a full fledge sig.

SIGARMS is the American incarnation of Swiss manufacturing firm Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG), a company most famous for its firearms, as SIG Arms AG. SIGARMS was set up in 1985 in order to manufacture and import SIG's firearms into the USA, although as of 2000 it has been a separate entity.

Ok i'm back from work (hard to post on my iPhone)
the only things I don't like about my skeeter are the Trigger pull is little to be desired, The mags are expensive as hell (unless you get them used) and the fact I paid full price for it when everywhere I turn there is a used one for sale.
I like shooting it alot especially when the ammo I use is $1.49/50 at wal mart
One day I hope to suppress it but $400 is a P6 to me and I'd rather have that.....

I would suggest go rent one at your local range but please keep in mind that they don't clean their guns as often as a skeeter needs to be cleaned. If it is dirty it pretty much is a "single" shooter even with CCI mini mags.

That being said I think my skeeter is here to stay and since my other two guns are both 226 I seem to like anything Sig

Mine was 100%. (still have it but shoot the suppressor on the Ruger now)

I shot Remington Target with the light spring with the suppressor and it ran just fine. There were many days we would put 500 rounds through it with no problems.

I bought one for my son. I like the look and feel of it but, (always a but) it jams a lot. I've tried several different ammos and still the same result. Thus we don't shoot it a lot.

Have you thought about the P226 with the 22LR conversion kit?
It's just alittle more than the mosquito and if you get bored you can get the conversion to 9mm

$473.99 comes from factory in 22LR with one mag
Dan at GC may be able to help you just PM him
also comes with the 9mm rail so for you to convert all you need to buy is 9mm barrel
    and Mags

Research into it first how much it will cost you to upgrade it to 9mm before buying I'll do some too and get back to you! I think this is a better option that I wish I knew about before buying my Skeeter!

    Hope this helps
