Shotshell Print Removal?

Does anyone know of a way to remove the print off a shotshell without damaging the plastic, besides carrying it in a pocket for a few days? Asking for someone who does reload shells for hunting, but the 00BK hulls may not go over so well.

I would try naptha ( lighter fluid ) first

if that doesn't work then try a little acetone on a rag - pretty sure that will work

Alcohol is the least offensive of anything you could try.
WD-40 or mineral spirits may work, but may not be helpful for reloading
From my organic chemistry days, acetone melts plastic.

Tried some paint thinner and a brush and it took it right off. Thanks.

If all else fails... rub it with 3% Antimony. Seriously though, acetone will weaken the hull if not melt through it entirely... I would try light physical abrasion first. Or, just ink it out with a Sharpie and right the correct load on the other side.
