Caracal which is why I posted this video. There is also some weird targets and some Fudd stocks after the cool stuff.

If you don't know, The engineer who designed the HK 416, was hired by Sig Sauer and improved the platform with the Sig 516. After that, the same guy was hired by Caracal to improve the platform again with the Caracal 816. Direct lineage. From everything that I have heard, the Caracal is a professional grade, world class, firearm.

I really like this straight pull action.

That looks pretty cool. I really like straight pull actions and have an Izhmash 7-2. I've shot a Summit and I have lusted for an Anschutz Fortner.

This looks like a nice affordable alternative. 10/22 mags and triggers is a nice touch. They should have gone with barrels as well, they just lost a ton of sales and that barrel changing system is gimmicky at best.(It takes less than 5 minutes to change a 10/22 barrel). Call it a takedown if you want.

The magazine spacer is also stupid. But that stock looks awesome. But again they lost tons of sales because it is not compatible with a 10/22.

I want one but will probably not buy it because of the reasons noted. They had a chance to hit a homerun with this and they really messed up. Still much better than the Hammerli TAC

Hydra Weaponry

Lowers are usually the cheapest part of the rifle, just buy multiple lowers if that is what you want. Just my thoughts.

$276 for a mag well only. ~ $500ish for the complete lower receiver with one mag well. $1300ish for a complete rifle.

OR, you can buy a dozen Anderson Arms lowers on sale.

This is the AR15 variant that, in ten years, nobody will have heard of it at the range. So, if you get one, it will be a cool conversation piece.
