i have a friend who is interested in buying one of my C&R pistols. He lives in Pittsburgh and does not have an FFL of any kind. He has a local FFL01 that he would like to use. Is there any reason I could not just ship to his FFL and let them complete the transfer? This is my first time trying to sell something out of state.
    Thanks in advance.

You can ship to his FFL assuming they accept transfers from private individuals(No reason they should not, since it's perfectly legal).

Must go by UPS or FedEx NextDayAir since it's a handgun.

the OP will not be considered as a private individual.. he's acting as FFL. but yes.. ship it to the FFL and they will do the necessary paperwork for that state.
