Guys I'm about to sell my ruger 10/22 to someone soon. But I'm curious what I have to do? This rifle was purchase by me when I lived in Arizona and is not registered in the state of Maryland or Arizona for that fact.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Shouldn't be any issues. Particularly if you sell it to me at a reasonable price.

No such thing as "registration" of such guns.

You can sell face to face to any eligible person with no paperwork required, although a bill of sale for your own records is a good idea.

If people are buying or selling a rifle from/to a person in another state, are there any laws one must be aware of?
I am talking about an unregulated rifle (for example) that is legal in both states and both people are eligible to own firearms.

Federal law says it must go through a FFL.

Interstate must go through FFL. Buyer must be present at FLL to receive the firearm.

FFL can be in ANY state.

Transaction must be legal in state of transfer and state of residence of the buyer.

    All Federal law.
