Ok so I know I am going to get my head bitten off for asking this... but I have an SVT-40, an FN 49 and will have 1 or 2 M1 Garands. I took the SVT and FN out this weekend for alittle fun and learned that I need scopes on them and I will likely need scopes on the Garands as well. Does anyone know a way to mount a modern scope on these rifles without permanently altering them? If it can't be done without permanently alter them I am not going to do it but I want to know if there are any options that anyone knows about.
