Not sure if this pistol is already available.

Internet says that it is the same as CPX-1, but with
- no safety lever (do you need it on DAO gun?)
- integrated safety lock (no need to buy an external one in MD?)

I saw one at a gun show last month here in NC. You read right on the internet. It is exactly as you describe. Same finishes as the CPX-1.

Shooter's Discount has the CPX-2 to submit to the MD Handgun Roster Board at the beginning of next week for the 12/02/10 handgun roster board meeting. If approved, it should be available for sale sometime during the month of January.

There is NO integrated safety lock built into this model therefore one will be needed. The gun does come with an external trigger lock.
