Look at the Trijicon AccuPoint TR24 as well. It's a 1-4 like the S&B for about 1/2 the price.

I have one on me RECCE clone. Damn nice optic.

Comp M4, you ain't shootin for 1" groups with an SBR at any distance so why spend the money on a precision optic. Buy the optic for the purpose of the gun and a SBR is a sub 300 yard gun imho.

it's the only one i have experience with, and it's quick and designed for up close. Like 3rdRcn said, won't be shooting much past 100 yards so why go with something magnified.

and if you wanted to try for s's and g's you could throw a magnifier on it

I agree with 3rdRCN as well.

I went with the aimpoint comp m4 - and I think it is a great optic. I also have a Bushnell holosight ( same as eotech ) and to me, target acquisition seemed faster with the aimpoint and it was very accurate at 100 yards.

Todd, yes I do agree. I played one that was on a KAC SR15. Very nice scope indeed. I have a Leupold and my buddy has a Nightforce. So I wanted to get a S&B to be a little different. Again cost doesn't really matter to me.

What do you guys think? I figure it would be nice to have magnification if I need it.

IMHO... I think if you need magnification, build an SPR with a proper (accurate) upper and a corresponding scope and mount.

Optimize the CQBR carbine for the short(er) range stuff.
