Guys/Gals,
Thinking about a Savage Model 12 VLP in 204 Ruger. Anybody got one of these with the laminate stock? I have one of the older model 10 FCP SRs in .308 (desert camo/accustock) that I am very happy with but want to make sure Savage is still turning out the same quality these days. Was also looking at Sakos and Kimbers, but would rather save some scratch for an optic if I can get a really good shooter for the money. Is the laminate stock free floated?
