Hello,

I am interested in picking up either of these handguns, but I do not see Taran Tactical as a manufacturer on the Maryland Roster. Would this be under another style/ manufacturer? If not, what would be needed to add the firearm to the roster? I’ve been told they need the actual gun, is that correct?

Just buy a staccato and send it off for some custom work. You would probably wind up cheaper in the long run.

I have an XC, Vulcan P, and Monsoon c2. Love them all.

You would need to buy one and submit it to the handgun board. Then they would approve it or not. If approved you would need to wait until it hits the roster then start you 7 day wait. All BS but it is what it is.

OP - as noted you can petition the HRB to have it added to the roster.

I’ll contact them. Seems optional if I have to send the firearm in for a review or not. I guess they would make a determination.

You would need to buy it and transfer it to an FFL and they would need to give it to them.
