S&W 1911 Scope Mount

I plan on getting active in my rifle and pistol club's bullseye competition this summer, and need advice on the type of scope mount that will work best on my .45 S&W 1911. From my internet research there are mounts that require drilling and tapping into the frame, and some that do not. I am fairly new to shooting, and have no scopes on my other handguns. Your input on the pros and cons of the various mounts, along with what has worked for you, will be greatly appreciated.

I do not have one of these, but this would be a suggestion if you don't want to drill and tap.
