Hay there everybody. I am posting the info for this motorcycle ride because it supports a cause close to home for me. My oldest son was diagnosed when he was a few years ago when he was 9. This ride is sponsored by JDRF, http://jdrf.org/, and is a great local ride put togather by great local people. It is always a great turn out and a great ride. If you can make it out, it means alot. The info is below. I know it is a ways out, but schedules fill up qiuk these days. Thanks, Capman98.

"Mark your calendar! Crabby Daddy's 4th Annual JDRF Benefit Motorcycle Ride is being held on June 8, 2013. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Buckeystown Pub with kickstands up at 10:00 with stops at Taverna 5450 and Gunner's Grille. We will then head back to the Buckeystown Pub for food, entertainment, and lots of fun.

I have attached the flyer for your information. Please feel free to share this information with your friends and family! If you have questions, please email me or give us a call at 301-471-1365. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for diabetes. Together, we will find a cure.

You are receiving this email because you had indicated that you wanted to be notified about this ride. If you would like to have your name removed from our mailing list, please respond to this email to have that done. Thank you."

Is this an organized group ride (riding in a large group all at once), or can you go at your own pace?

Even if it is a large group, I'm sure we can work a way to keep "Team MDS" in a bunch.

OP... is there a link for signups, or just show up??

It is a lrage group ride. police escorted all the way to the PA line. At least it was in the past. Sign up day of the event. Just noticed that the price didn't copy and paste. I try to get it and post in OP. I think it was like $25 bucks for a rider plus like ~15 for pass. but I cannot remember exactly.

This sounds like a good idea, hope the rain is over for tomorrow!

Don't know if any of you made it out, but the weather was perfect and the ride was awesome. Just over 200 bikes. If you made it, thank you from my family to yours. If not, it's cool, try next year.

    Thanks, Capman98

Glad you made it to the ride. Sorry we didn't get to meet up. We ended up not doing the breakfast anyway cause some of my people backed out too. Just hit up McD's on the way out of town. I took some pics I will post and maby I got one of you. Thanks for coming out, means a lot to my family and my son.
