RESULTS - QSC High Power Weekend 8/28 & 8/29

Had a great weekend of shooting at Quantico! We had a total of 6 National Records set!

Since I was the score keeper for the modified F-class match I figure I might as well post those scores:

800, 900, 1000, then total
Ben: 142/3X, 143/5X, 176/2X, 461/10X
Luke: 141/1X, 140/1X, 177/1X, 458/3X
Todd: 139/0X, 134/1X, 172/1X, 445/2X

And Aaron competed and successfully got on paper.

Aarron was shooting a FAL, wasn't he? I missed getting to see that... I'm a big FALcoholic...

Yeah, Aaron was shooting a FAL. I was impressed it did as well as it did, honestly. It's a shooter. With a better scope and a known 800 yard zero, it could turn in a pretty respectable score.

It was hell on the brass though. I picked up all of Aaron's brass, and at least half of it is beat up to the point I would no longer feel comfortable reloading it.

Oh yeah, I always just shoot surplus ammo out of mine. FALs will fling it out pretty far too... I would not recommend reloading any of it...

They are pretty accurate if they're put together right. I love 'em. Real fun to shoot. I've got two G-1s an STG and an Izzy FAL-O...

Yeah, we only found about half of the spent brass. That stuff was flying.
