I'm sort of a newbie with shotguns, so bare with me ....

I just got a 12GA, Remington 870 Wingmaster Classic Trap gun.

It came with 3 choke tubes. 2 of them I know - Modified and Full.

The 3rd is puzzling me. It is engraved with "Singles .027". I cannot find a reference to this tube on the Remington web site.

Anybody have a clue as to the amount of choke this provides, and where it falls in the cyl - impcyl - mod - impmod - full progression?

Thanks for that link to Colonial Arms. I learned something from going through it. I now understand the meaning of the .027 stamped on the tube.

Knowing that, and seeing that chart I agree that it is somewhere between mod and full.

I will try to pattern the gun this weekend to see how much difference it really makes.
