Proud new owner of a Mosin

I picked up Eastcoasttj's Mosin today. I was wondering if anyone has a headspace gauge I could meet up and check that the headspace was good on it, he never actually shot it.

I almost bought that from him. I saw it posted but I just picked up a 91/59 carbine off of a fellow member a few weeks ago that I haven't made time to go shoot yet. Good luck with her and welcome to the mosin family. I'm looking to get a full length one soon, after I pick me up an AK of course.

if you dont find anyone nearby, you could just order one for yourself, its useful to have if you have any intention to collect.

These rifles were headspaced during arsenal refurbishment, and since yours has been arsenal refurbished and not fired since, the odds of yours having incorrect headspace is pretty much zero, providing the part numbers on the rifle match. That said, we want pictures so we can tell you more about your new toy.
