At $200 what's not to like. I'd be interested to see how well a $200 upper shoots. Figure another $160 for a decent BCG and charger.

Good price. At a local gun store a few weeks ago, I was told that Radical sells decent quality, low-cost AR components.

Have a Radical Firearms upper from Primary Arms and couldn't be happier. Kinda a silly name for a company, IMP, but quality was very nice. They're located fairly close to Primary, so I believe they've got some sort of relationship with deals. Primary Arms is fantastic with customer service. Order with confidence.

Who would expect a precision barreled upper for $200? I wouldn't but, not all of us are ready to drop $300-$400 on an AR barrel, let alone an upper. You gets what you pays for. It's definitely entry level stuff. I guess we're interested(Guiney pig wise) how they stand up.

I have seen it. Google it if you don't believe me.

This can happen when Barrels are nitrided with the barrel extensions installed, which is a HUGE no-no.

Yup. I try to stay vague because some gun companies love to threaten lawsuits for telling the truth. Im not saying Radical would do that, but sometimes people need to do some research.

I'm running a $69.00 10.5" 7.62x39 barrel by Radicals. Its fed and fired every round so far. I assembled the upper from spare parts a little over a year ago.

I can speak of this first hand being a problem. Tried to remove the muzzle brake on mine when it was new.... Ended up accidentally unscrewing the barrel from the extension with basically no effort.

Upper Came today.. seems pretty solid. probably going to order this BGC deal and some other little upgrades before putting it all together.
