I was looking at the dpms rm12 and wanted to maybe build one. It was priced at 1570 or would it be cheaper to build one? I need help with a parts list so i can price it out. Ofcourse chambered in .308

Like Sticky said once you start adding quad rails and new sights you will be close to that $1500 mark anyways. But assembling it is a lot of fun too.

I would assemble it, from the parts I wanted. I spec'ed out a 300BLK upper for more that I could have bought one for, but I got a known barrel, instead of an unknown barrel.
After building my first AR, I will be building every AR, I will ever own in the future. I'm building the wifeys HBAR for 400-450, with better parts than other bargain basement outlets.
I learned a lot about how the AR works, by building my own rifles. I can also spread out the purchase of the rifle over time, instead of saving up for it all at once.

I got a great deal on a magpul prs stock but I need a buffer kit to complete my build any suggestions? Also looking for a tool kit.

Did you get the AR-15 or AR-10 PRS? This matters, because the AR-15 will likely be too short for you to use the cheek adjustment and pull back your charge handle.
