In Adams County some of the wording on the application only references PA identification. I showed up with my MD ID and had no issue.

You should be fine. If they approved you I wouldn’t sweat it.

Thanks! I’m hoping one of the many York app guys will check in as well. My buddy applied today, so I’ll wait for his to get approved and we’ll head up next week or whenever there’s a slot.

    My email said the same...

Please bring with you either a valid Pennsylvania
Driver's License, or PA Government Identification,
with your current address as shown on your permit
application. The license will not be issued unless
    you have the proper identification.

I believe it is a form letter. I showed up with my
Delaware Drivers License, Delaware CCW, and my
Lancaster County CCW, and there wasn't an issue.
My Lancaster CCW had not expired yet, but you
can't be licensed in two counties (Lancaster and York)
at the same time, so the Officer kept my Lancaster
County CCW. It was fine with me, it only had about
    a month till the experation.

PA through Adam's Co approved today, but earliest pickup available was 2/6. Can't get off work until 2/27 due to a new obligation beginning 2/1. Probably should have just done York even though it's further away for me.

I picked up my permit today at the Adams Co. Sheriff’s Office. It very quick and easy. 10 minutes. Bring some change with you for the parking meters. Lots of places to eat within a 2-5 minute walk.

My Daughter and I had a really nice lunch at this restaurant. The grilled cheese appetizer is delicious!

What is required for this permit?

Do I need to bring my MD permit or reference information of any type with me? Is there training or fingerprinting required too?

I went up to York Satellite office yesterday, the officer is a 6 at best, probably a 7 for that area and that's w/pistol strapped on. Married, kid, rides ATV's for fun. Three old white guys were there also picking up permits. They hand out 40 - 50 permits per day with occasional 60 permit days. On average that is $25 x 46 bringing in $1150 per day or almost $6,000.00 per week for York's satellite office, I'm guessing almost $10K per week for York County.
I stopped by Freedom Armory and paid $130.00 for two Sig P365 15 rnd mags.

There was an odd smell of something like old milk.
