    Folks,

I need a list of PACs and Pro-2A organizations that are tax deductable to donate to.

I paid $160,000 in taxes, which is roughly 50% of our income, last year.

My wife just asked me what we're getting for that, and we've decided to lower out taxable income by donating to Pro-2A groups.

So, what groups are tax deductions?

    Let's start a list.

Come on folks... sadly, money makes the work go round... we need a list that we can donate to for our cause.

You probably know this, but not everyone does....there is a diference between a tax credit and a tax write off (aka deduction). You are talking write off, so you will probably be out of pocket a net of more that you are without the donations

I'll be the first to admit that I need to learn a bunch more; we just happened to start doing quite well in the last few years.

However, once the wife started to ask what we were getting for that level of taxation, I started to wonder what I can do to lower our taxable income.

Frankly, we're so annoyed that the OP still is valid: Where do we put our money to start to impact the current political climate. There have to be a combination of tax deductable contributions and such that would make a difference?
