Thanks for the heads up. I guess I foolishly thought that everyone in this forum would agree that the Federal Government had become an overgrown monster.

I like to think that for the most part, that is in fact the case.

But some folks I do wonder about.

We do need a national consensus on gun control. That consensus should be that it won't work, and they should move along to the next topic.....

Good luck with that when 9 out of 10 democrats and even a few republicans believe otherwise.

It seems they need a reminder of what happened in the 90's as a consequence of the push for more gun control. It remains to be seen if they will get that reminder.
