I think we are seeing the downfall of our nation as we know it. The hunger for expansion is long gone. We are no longer the #1 economic super power. Our politicians laugh when God is mentioned. We spend way too much time on entertainment and give away way too much free bread. We don't raise our children right and we don't take care of our elderly.

It honestly reminds me of the Romans. Rome didn't even have an army to fight the barbarians that laid siege to the city. Not only that, but they opened the gates up to the enemy because they were starving inside the city. Sadly, the enemy used to be one of their mercenaries. God help this once great country.

Drastic changes will require a joint committee with the house and senate. This will require full house and full senate approval after the committee.

House passage with minor amendments will send it back to the senate for a full vote. O'Malley will sign it, and we are all screwed.
