I call complete BS. This is no doubt in their dreams, but it's prima facie unconstitutional. and saying it is routine and uncontroversial to get a tax bill through -- wtf are they smoking?

We face real and present dangers, no doubt. This one is way down on the list.

You can not tax these items constitutionally because it amounts to a poll tax! Just like voting rights in the south, during Jim Crow. Health Care could be taxed but at some point a 2A tax would fall apart in court. The NFA tax is a license Fee(one time). They could Fee it to death but then congress would have to aprove it. But before then all Gun-grabbers in congress need to be tried for treason and then publicly hung. IMO

Yes it would be unconstitutional but already we are not beholden to the constitution since scotus now interprets it and often infringes it. As they retire, depending on who's in office and congress, the president shapes the new interpretation of the constitution, even though it may occur after his tenure.

For a guy who claims to be a Constitutional lawyer he doesn't know jack about the subject if these are his advisors.
