I'm going to be running a AAC M4-2000 on a 10.5" Noveske with a switchblock and I wanted to switch out the standard blackout flashhider for the muzzle brake, my question is will doing so with the switchblock mess up the gas system and cause cycling problems?

    Thanks in advance.

No, the switch block just regulates the volume of gas when suppressed or un-suppressed. If you are just using a muzzle brake as a muzzle device then you will put the switchblock on unsupressed so it would be just like having a regular gas block. When you attach the M42000 then you will obviously put the switchblock on suppressed to decrease the volume of gas.

I'm guessing you are saying that your are swapping the aac blackout for the aac brakeout FH. This will make no difference in cycling.

Awesome gotcha, and yeah that's the plan. I just heard there may be over gassing for the diameter of the hole for the suppressed setting of the switchblock with the brakeout. Thought i'd ask here before going to the manufacturer.

    Thanks again :)
