nOOb question - secondary sales and 8-day release

Apologies in advance if this covers old ground. I haven't seen a discussion about this particular inquiry yet.

Last week, I filed paperwork with MSP to purchase two handguns (from two different members here) via secondary sale. The "8-day release" for them would occur on Friday and Saturday (9/27 and 9/28). Would it make sense for us to create a "waiver" document for CYA purposes to accompany the exchange? Does anyone have such a beast at hand to offer?

Oh, yes, sorry to have left that out - I am a DC. I'll also make sure to bring the pink forms of the 77r and we'll let that stand in. Thanks for replying!
