Very nice. I was trying to decide between. DD MK 18 and a Colt 6945 before the shit hit the fan. Looks like I missed the boat for now. I'll have to entertain myself with what I have and hope they don't try to take 'em.

I suck at pictures, but here are my latest two beauties.

First up, a 9mm AR-15 SBR. Got this upper recently off a private seller, but still pretty cheap.

7.5" ER Shaw barrel (looks like heavy profile)
    Adco Ramped 9mm BCG
    Model1 CH w/ tac latch
    YHM Freefloat Quad Rail
    KNS anti-roll pins
    Magpul MOE+ pistol grip
    Ambi-safety
    Spike's Billet Trigger Guard
    mch28 trigger adjuster
    ALG Defense Act FCG
    Magpul MOE stock
VM-Hytech Uzi magblock (seems to work best with mags loaded to 31 rounds, oh well)

    Coming soon, but not pictured:
    HeavyBuffers 9-Q 8.5oz buffer
    MBUS
    XTM Enhanced Panels
    XTM Handstop Kit
    Magpul BAD

Optics-wise, I'll be moving my SOPS reflex sight from my 16" AR-15 over to this SBR, and mounting a 1-X scope on the carbine.

Next up, my Saiga 12 SBS.

Initial conversion work was done by JT Engineering. Notice the lack of holes on the receiver.

SBS work, including gas, polishing, and chopping to 13" was done by our own Lord Chad. I'm told this one will run on birdshot, which is awesome since all my cheap slugs are gone.

    Mako Recoil-Reducing Tube
    Mako Recoil-Reducing Buttstock
    CAA AG47 Grip
    Krebs Safety
Krebs Sights w/ Meprolight post (installed expertly by Chad)
    Chaos Tri-Rail
    Inforce WML
    Russian-style flash hider / comp
PFI Action-4 Reflex Sight on MI side rail mount
    Krebs plate
    Tapco G2 trigger

This thing runs like greased lightning, and is super tame to shoot.

    Nice 9mm SBR erwos.

If you get tired if that Uzi block, I'll trade you a drop in Hahn block and some $$.
Ha, no. I've got an Uzi to share those magazines with!

It's not pain-free, though... you basically wind up with the Uzi magazine handling paradigm on an AR-15. No LRBHO, mags don't drop free, and a somewhat different manual of arms. Plus, if you don't run with a bullet button, you could possibly dump the magblock by accident.

It's not a huge deal, mostly because I don't consider 9mm guns to be especially serious tools anymore, but practice makes perfect...

    Exactly correct.
With that mag block, you need to learn the Uzi manual of arms.

Left hand mag release and strip...
    Reload... slap... rack, and go.

Not so bad if you own, and practice with both.

My blackout build came to a close this weekend when I picked up the can... and a new blackout host followed me home. I'll find the time to take some glamor shots later.

Finally finished...... for now. I picked up my Octane9 HD last week (Thanks 2A) and switched out the pistol length rail for a midlength. Added a 3-lug adapter to the barrel and done. Thanks for the inspiration Mega! I freakin love this thing! Took it to the range on Saturday and it did not disappoint.
