And Maryland falls under Dana Pickles.

Don't have a link right now, but ATF released a memo with a list of geographical reassignment of NFA examiners. No longer will it be done by store name. Each examiner should be well versed in the different state laws as they apply to NFA items.

Hmmm how about they take all those $200 checks we send them and hire some more examiners. Some consistency will be nice though.

Interesting. My last examiner was Nicole Dudash, but that was in April.

Sweet. I should have my stuff back from MSP any day now, this means I can probably take my SBR and can to the Pat Rogers class I signed up for. :D

    Youll like that class.

If your all ready to mail the packet, you should see an approved form 1 or 4 in 60-70 days if you send it now.

I hope this change will lead to overall faster turn arounds due to better expertise on the law. However, given how many states Dana has, He still has a lot to know. I suppose it's better than all the states though.

The list is interesting. It's clear which states have higher NFA requests than others. Hopefully, the NFA branch will do a good job load leveling between the examiners.
