@Biggfoot, yeah sounds like myrtle grove is the place I need to go. I'll have to wait till next weekend unfortunately. But I did get to pick up my rifle today.

Sanners Lake is an hour south of you next to NAS Patuxent River. It is a private club, but if you ask nice I'm sure someone would take you in as their guest.

Went to Myrtle Grove today and put 40 rounds through my 30-06. I didn't have a spotter scope, so it was difficult to get it 100% dialed in. I got decent grouping at 75 meters, but I'm going to get a spotting scope and some dark targets and head back to get it 100% dialed in at 100 meters.

Also put 100 rounds down range with my AR and got it pretty squared away at 50 meters. I still have some work to do with both the 30-06 and AR-15. I finished the day by running 2 magazines through my 9mm. That is my home self defense gun, so its good to get a feel for it.
