New Springfield 1911

Finally after 2 months of waiting I picked up this very handsome Springfield Mil Spec yesterday. Will be taking to the range next week for it's maiden voyage.

Yes they are but well worth the money both sports are very enjoyable. Now I need to start base jumping

The HQL took 1.5 months (including the 7 day wait) and the rest was searching for the best price.

Yeah I did a few dry fires and the trigger is actually very nice. Can't wait for the not so dry fire

When it was time for my first .45 I wanted something as close to a GI M-1911a1 as I could find and this was it. I just happen to find an old GI holster and mag pouch. Love this weapon hope you have fun with yours.
