I am smack in the middle of the suburbs, so it has been all indoor range shooting for me so far.
I have been shooting at Blue Ridge Arsenal. It was the first place I went to. I have been trying to branch out to see what else is out there.
A few local guys have invited me out to Silver Eagle, but I have not made it over there yet. I have also heard the NRA HQ range in Fairfax is a good place to go, I hope to check it out soon.

That is public. It is $35/mo for members, unlimited lane time. They also have some times reserved for members only.
I found them a few months ago while searching for gun safety courses, they had the first open slot, so I went there. I shot a bunch of different rentals there to figure out what I liked before I bought. I found them to be very helpful, even though I did not buy from them.
