The wife and I haven't practiced since moving back here last July. I stocked up on ammo before leaving Colorado and it's been making a hole in the floor ever since. The transportation laws, ammo rules, distance and rumored poor customer service has dissuaded us from shooting here MD, almost to the point of getting out of the hobby.

This new range will be 15 minutes away and sounds like it'll be customer-friendly. It looks like all the bases have been covered so far regarding suggestions. I hope 'gangsta gripping' handguns will not be allowed.

FreeState Gun Range will be opening in the White Marsh area within the next ninety days. We will have 12 lanes. Please give us feedback as to how we can be the best public firearms facility in the area.

whatever continental does, DO THE OPPOSITE. dont wear tacticool BS on the floor. allow human sillouhettes (spelling?)/threat targets. allow full auto/rapid fire! every hour on the range comes with a free steak dinner...

Construction continues to go well and we will meet our mid-April opening date. We are thinking about having a pre-opening opening for mdshooters members in a week or so. People coming into the range will need to sign in with their name AND their mdshooters screen name. Any interest or suggestions about this?

We hope all of you will be come. We have tried to incorporate many of your suggestions. A pic is attached.
