Finally got my marschal grips for my P64 and they look great! Of course they had to come while I was at the range so I don't know how good they are for shooting but they feel and look great. I may end up taking the oil finish off and changing the color but I'm going to leave it alone for now at least.

Shaved a tiny amount of weight too. Wish I had known weeks ago that I would be ordering a second P64. Now it wants wood grips too!

Well I've been very happy with the way the grips look, but not very pleased with the durability. This happened on my first trip to the range, first magazine through it.

Looks like the recoil force is being concentrated precisely where the grain orientation is its weakest. They either need to inlet more, to prevent the frame hitting against the beavertail area, or use laminated wood, or, ideally, both.

Wow. I know it's a snappy little gun. But I didn't realize it made grips commit suicide on their first mag.
Good luck with the new ones.

I have a set of Marschal Grips on my Pa63, the Mag Flush oil finished oak, very nice. The palm swells are great, and the flush to the frame fit adds more material to absorb that snappy recoil these 9x18s all seem to have. Good luck with your new set, I've never heard of Marschal Grips doing anyone wrong, only great reviews.
