A dreary evening with time on my hands got me motivated to post some pics of my latest find. I've enjoyed reading about all these cool new C&Rs showing up around here so I wanted to come and party too. It's an M-27 Finn dated 1928 with ski attachment. The one piece walnut stock has the English Contract cartouche. The sling came with it. It has some oddities about it. One is the "carving" in the wood, just behind the tang. Can any one spot the other unusual characteristic? Thanks for looking.
