Have a 30 year old badger (can't remember model #) and has been acting up recently.

Wanted to see if anyone likes their airbrush - trying to not spend hundreds of dollars either - maybe something around $150 and that I can get parts for?

    airbrush

I too have on old badger 150 double action internal mix airbrush. Mine still works fine, but I purchased the 6 airbrush rotary station airbrush set from Harbour Freight. I can honestly say that I'm impressed. These are Chinese knockoffs of the old Badger 150 and parts will interchange with them. They are very nicely anodised and they work just as well as the old badger.

If you buy a new badger 150 it runs around $150 or better. I got this kit with 6 airbushes and a central connection point with an air gauge on it. for $175. It also comes in a nice plastic case with form fitted sections for all the airbrushes and accessories, and it also comes with 7 braided high quailty hoses. This is a smoking deal especially if you want to have 6 different colors spraying at once. However they also sell this airbrush by itself as well. I believe the single airbrush is in the $20 range? Not sure if it comes with the braided hose, but those are availible for a reasonable cost. I don't usually endorse chinese knockoffs but this is a very well done one.

What do you use it for?

I build models, mostly 1/35th scale tanks and such. I have had an Iwata HP-C for 10 years and its a joy. Spend once, cry once, just like with quality firearms.
