    The stock FIT (ie inletting) was the same for both rifles, the cosmetics were totally different. The 600 was laminated, the 660 was basic wood. ( have to look up if that was utility grade walnut, or hardwood stained to resemble walnut).

    The linked stock, is indeed a good find in that grade of walnut for that price.

    I never did anything with this but my old man finally decided to give me this action. So now I'm hot to do something.

    Stumbled across this picture on Wikipedia tonight. Holy cow I love a full length stock. Apparently a handful were done for the European market this way so of course I can't find this stock to buy.

    Is it feasible to take the old hacked up stock that I have and have a full length stock made for the action? How crushingly expensive would this be?
