    I was told today that if i purchase the 590 9 round if I did a barrel change i wouldnt have to change the tube? I just need somone to clear tHis up because i was also told I had to change the tue by someone else.

    What would you be changing the barrel to? The 590 9 shot is a 20" brrel, if you're putting anything shorter than a 20" barrel the lug on the barrel will not allow the chamber to seat in the receiver.

    24 or 26 i was gonna get the flex and change it up when i hit the range.

    Best bet is to call or email Mossberg, it may take a day or two but they will answer any questions you have.

    I called and I have my answer yes the barrel change can be done no additional purchase. 12 gage to gage Mossberg barrels are good.
