No, we kicked the British out about 250 years ago. We do, however, use silencers or suppressors.Does anybody use a moderator on their guns?
Nice of you to ask!Does anybody use a moderator on their guns?
What the hell is a gun moderator? I’m familiar with moderators for large meetings/seminars, but not with guns.

So it's like a BB gun silencer? I've never heard of such a thing - sounds cool though. In this context , it's a thing attatched to an Air Gun , that does the same thing as would a suppressor on a firearm . ( Except it's not NFA )
Yes. Moderators on PCP airguns are a must to keep happy neighbors.Does anybody use a moderator on their guns?
Wrong. Airgun moderators are not regulated. The ATF considers them suppressors. So why use one if they are not as good
True. And good ones can cost $100 and up so you really don't want to blow it up.This is air gun forum folks, Moderator wording used so they are not confused. Air gun moderators would explode on even a 22 I recall.
I thought I saw some people posting here before so you may need to search mr OP
If you are looking for one, DonnyFL in Florida makes some of the quietest I have used. You can get by with cheaper moderators for break barrels and .177/.22 PCP's but, once you get into the .25's and up, you need a good one.Yes. Moderators on PCP airguns are a must to keep happy neighbors.
Hah! Didn't notice this was in the air gun forum. My mind went right to the XM 177Wrong. Airgun moderators are not regulated.
