Anyone know a mechanic looking for work ?
The state is looking for a temporary mechanic for the Owings Mills shop. It could lead into a full time position. The temp position could last 6-9 months and would require over time in winter.
Applicant would need to have experience in diesel, hydraulic, air brake, small engine, heavy equipment as well as light duty cars/trucks. CDL not necessary for temp job, if the position becomes a regular state position then the CDL( B minimum ) is required.
They hire through a temp agency, they would have to go through them for the job, but so far there hast been any interest in the job from the agencys people. The temp position does jot have benefits or paid holiday.
